While we stand firmly behind our craftsmanship, there are a few conditions where the guarantee may not apply:
Design Specifications: If the defect arises from a design or specification provided by the customer.
Fair Wear and Tear: The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or misuse.
Abnormal Conditions: If the product is used in abnormal conditions, or if there’s failure to follow our care instructions, the guarantee may not apply.
Unauthorized Modifications: Any alteration, improper repair, or damage due to badly fitted casing that is done without Harvey George’s approval is not covered.
Third-Party Components
For parts, materials, or equipment not manufactured by us (like mirrors or fittings), the guarantee extends only to the warranty or guarantee provided by the original manufacturer.
Claims Process
To make a claim under our guarantee, customers should email us with details of the issue and include photographic evidence. We ask that any defects or issues be reported as soon as possible after discovery to prevent the problem from worsening.
Remedies
If a valid claim is made under the guarantee, Harvey George reserves the right to either repair or replace the defective goods, or refund the price (or a proportionate part of it). Our aim is to resolve any issues efficiently and to the satisfaction of our customers.
Non-Transferability
It’s important to note that the guarantee is non-transferable. It remains valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred if the product is sold or gifted.
Global Coverage
The guarantee covers Harvey George products regardless of where they are sold, ensuring global customers enjoy the same level of assurance.
Timely Reporting
We encourage customers to report any issues immediately. Delay in reporting might aggravate the problem and can affect the guarantee claim.
